Moira Grant LLB NP
Partner
Moira was born in Kirkintilloch and now lives in Aberfoyle. She became a solicitor in 1981 and a partner in McCarrys in 1984.
Moira is a highly experienced court solicitor dealing with Criminal Defence work, Children’s Hearings and Parole Board Tribunals and has particular expertise in representing young people accused of criminal offences. She is a Notary Public and expert in drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney and Guardianship Orders.

Paul C. McCormick LLB NP

Paul was born and raised in Knightswood, attended the University of Glasgow, became a solicitor in 1981 and a Partner at McCarrys in 1984.
Paul has a particular interest in Criminal Defence work and Children’s Hearings with vast experience in preparing and presenting cases in the High Court and Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. He is a Notary Public with expertise in preparing Wills, Executries, Powers of Attorney and Guardianship Orders.

Colin G. Adam LLB NP
Partner
Colin Grant Adam is a native of Glasgow and studied Law at Glasgow University. He began practising as a Solicitor in 1982 and later became a Notary Public. Following completion of his LLB degree, he practised for several years in the south side of the city before joining McCarry’s Solicitors as an assistant and shortly after as a Partner. He has worked with the firm for 30 years gaining experience in many aspects of the law. He is particularly experienced in criminal defence representing clients in a number of high profile cases in the High Court. He regularly appears in the Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts.
In addition, he is one of the few Glasgow Solicitors acting as Curator to the Mental Health Tribunal for Scotland.

Associate
Richard grew up in Glasgow, attended the University of Glasgow and became a solicitor in 1997. He has been an Associate with McCarrys since 2010.
Richard has expertise in Road Traffic cases, all Criminal Defence work, Children’s Hearings as well as Wills, Executries and Power of Attorney / Guardianship Orders.
